Launch Diagnostics, part of the Avacta group, provides pathology solutions encompassing high quality diagnostic reagents and instrumentation from world leading manufacturer’s to the Health Services of the United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxemburg, France through Launch Diagnostics SAS and to the Republic of Ireland through ACCUSAY Diagnostics.
Launch Diagnostics was established in 1990 and has been in business for more than 30 years. It is one of the most successful companies in the United Kingdom’s diagnostics industry, being recognised by its customers and holding long term partnerships with many respected suppliers of diagnostic innovation.
Offering an extensive portfolio of diagnostic kits and laboratory instrumentation, our product range has expanded over the years to include a comprehensive range of EIA, single test devices, serology products, molecular assays and instrumentation.
Launch has 60 employees either based at our offices in North West Kent or field based. Both our Sales team and Technical team are located throughout their relevant territory, whether that is in the UK, Republic of Ireland or in France and BeLux. This allows for a rapid response to satisfy our customers needs.

Our dedicated teams are able to respond quickly to customer needs. One of our largest departments is our Technical Team, providing telephone and on-site technical support for both reagents and instruments plus ensuring instruments are running optimally with routine servicing.

Launch Diagnostics is a long standing member of the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA), the national industry association for the manufacturers and distributors of IVD products in the UK.
Launch Diagnostics Limited is fully compliant in PEPPOL Messaging standards enabling them to satisfy the requirements of trading electronically with all NHS Trusts and the NHS Supply Chain. PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is a network for the exchange of electronic business documents such as orders, invoices and shipping notices.
The Department of Health have publicly committed to the adoption of PEPPOL across the NHS with the aim of increasing efficiencies and reducing costs through the electronic transfer of business documents. Signing up to a certified PEPPOL access point provides benefits such as process automation and improved accounts handling.
To achieve PEPPOL compliance, Launch Diagnostics selected NetEDI as their certified Access Point provider. NetEDI is a cloud based EDI/PEPPOL provider offering comprehensive services and solutions to NHS Trusts and private sector companies that enable electronic transactions to be fully integrated into any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. An integrated solution provides an automated, reliable system for exchanging business documents, reducing payment and processing errors and can therefore prove to be very cost efficient.
Launch Diagnostics is able to send and receive EDI & PEPPOL compliant business documents and ensure that the demands of the NHS and other potential customers are met. As a supplier to the NHS, Launch Diagnostics is able to communicate with any partner connected to the PEPPOL network regardless of the access point used.
