The iPro slide processor is designed to automatically prepare immunofluorescence (IFA) slides. The instrument is controlled on-line in real time from an external dedicated PC. The processor performs the dilution of the samples, washes, and dispenses conjugates.
The instrument has a three-axis operating arm to perform the preparations. The arm has two needles, one to dispense and the other to aspirate. A ceramic pump is responsible
for performing precision dilutions and dispensing. A long-lasting peristaltic pump extracts waste during the slide-washing and needle-washing processes. The flat workspace ensures
that the needles do not damage the slides.
The application program has a graphical interface for programming work sessions. During execution of the session it provides information on its status throughout.
