CE marked real-time PCR for the detection and quantification of Hepatitis C Virus (encompassing all the genotypes 1-7) in a single ready to use mastermix which includes an internal control. The target is a region within the 5I UTR and the standard curve is created using 5 standards calibrated to the WHO International Standard (NIBSC code 06/102).
NB: The reaction volume is 80 µl so this assay is compatible with those real-time PCR instruments that can take this volume. Otherwise the Bosphore HCV Quantification Kit (ABHCQ1/2) uses a smaller reaction volume.
