Alethia LAMP Technology

Alethia LAMP technology can be used with a range of assays.
The Alethia Molecular System by Meridian Bioscience delivers the advantages of molecular technology in a simplified format. The Meridian Bioscience Alethia solution uses the recognised Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) technology to design and manufacture the Alethia instrument, a compact, automated detection system with a very simple assay process that is the heart of Alethia.

Simpler and Smaller

The simple sample preparation process generally takes less than 2 minutes of hands-on time. When you place the sample into the Alethia instrument and press the “run” button, the assay is in progress and no further work is required.

• No thermal cycling
• Very small footprint – approximately the size of an A4 sheet of paper
• Internal and external keyboard as well as a barcode reader for flexible sample ID entry
• Provides semi – random batch access while running up to 10 samples at a time in 2 independent, 5 – sample chambers
• Does not require an auxiliary computer

Faster and More Flexible

Because there is no thermal cycling, Alethia can provide results for up to 10 samples in less than an hour. Results are displayed directly on the instrument LCD readout screen and can be printed out on the system printer or can be exported via CSV file or through new LIS connectivity. Alethia integrates easily into facilities, regardless of work volume or technical experience
