An indirect immuno-fluorescence antibody for the detection and semi-quantification of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies(ANCA) in human serum.ANCA are found in the sera of patients with necrotising vasculitides and serve as an aid to the clinical diagnosis of these disorders.
Autoantibodies against cytoplasmic antigens of neutrophils give a diffuse cytoplasmic staining (c-ANCA)
Autoantibodies against neutrophil antigens give a perinuclear reaction pattern (p-ANCA)
