Biokit, S.A. was founded in 1973 for the purpose of research, production and distribution of clinical diagnostic reagents. Biokit is also ISO 9001/2000 accredited. Biokit belongs to the international holding company CH-Werfen that also owns Instrumentation Laboratory (IL). One of Launch Diagnostics first major distribution agreements was with Biokit S.A. Due to early sales success by Launch in the UK market, a joint venture company, Biokit Ltd. was formed in late 1990.

The Bioelisa product range has been researched, developed and manufactured to the highest standards. Due to Biokit's expertise many of the Bioelisa assays are market leaders in the UK including HBsAg and Rubella.

To complement the Bioelisa product range we have a range of instrumentation including the incredibly successful BEST 2000. The BEST 2000 is a modular, 4 plate EIA processor, there are now more than 100 placements in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
