In 1973 Biokit, S.A. was founded with private capital, in Barcelona with the objective of researching, manufacturing and distributing clinical diagnostics reagents on a worldwide basis.

Biokit is a member of the CH-Werfen International Holding together with Instrumentation Laboratory, well known for its Coagulation and Blood Gas reagents, and Izasa, the largest distributor in the health care business in Spain.

Biokit’s human resources are definitely its main asset: a group of highly specialised and qualified professionals which in addition to their technical skills, also contribute enthusiasm, energy and dedication to secure the Company's goals.

Biokit offers more than 120 diagnostic products in the field of infectious diseases and plasma proteins. Producing their own antigens and antibodies for later use in the production of the kits, the expertise in obtaining and purifying these raw materials guarantees a high level of consistency in the quality and supply of the Biokit products.

Validated for use on the BEST 2000, DS2 and the Grifols TRITURUS system.
