ready-to-use, “sample-to-answer”
rapid detection screening test for
the growing problem of MRSA
(methicillin-resistant S. aureus)
infection. This qualitative realtime quadruplex
PCR in vitro diagnostic test is
designed for the rapid detection
of MRSA carriers via nasal swabs as
part of hospital-based programmes to
aid in the prevention and control of
MRSA infection.
